Anyway, that poppe dinto mind when I see a tattoo fundraider party. Who else but burners would ask for handouts to get some stupid tattoo to show off on the playa?

Tue, January 23, 2007 - 7:44 PMI think this whole McTattoo thing is getting out of hand. time was, when having a tattoo and wearing black meant something. one percenter. rebel. misfit. fighter. now all kinds of whiny emo sissies with their little generic star tattoos, and women with a garden variety lotus tattoo on their back. it's just fashion for wimps.
Point being, that those who have tattoos for real reasons, can easily extract money from whoever they want, and would be mortified at tye thought of holding a fundraiser. holding up a bank might be more like it.
yeah I said it. if you don't fight at bars and get involved in a little crime now and then, why get a fucking tattoo?

The members of Apocalypse Theatre were trying to raise money to replace a van that didn't survive the year Skitch, then drummer for the group, did dozens of tattoos, giving a twist on the term "tattoo financing"..
Inked in that session were ( but not limited to): Trey Harvey ( yup, Larry Harvey's kid ), Bob Stahl, Flynn Mauthe, Myself ( ET Moody), I believe Will Roger, and a shitload more than I can recall.
Apox raised the money they needed.
This doesn't really fit the thread, but it was the first image to come to my mind when I read the phrase "tattoo financing"
1.) no, I didn't make payments
2.) yes, it hurt.
3.) yes, I have broken a few laws in my lifetime, most recently I ran an asshole into the wall on I-80 and kept going. Saw pieces of his car flying in a satisfying display of directions. So stay off the roads if you don't like it. -
